A self-proclaimed introvert with a bad memory, Shaun uses photography as a tool to document or remember things. His poignant relationship with the camera makes him an outstanding photographer with the appreciation of the craft as an art form.

Model trainer, runway coach and TV personality Charleston Pierce will share his experiences in the entertainment and fashion industry and teach you theory and successful techniques for improving your image, modeling and runway.
About Charleston ( http://charlestonpierce.com/ ):
A native of San Francisco, Charleston Pierce has over 25 years experience in the entertainment and fashion industry including successful modeling and acting stints in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and elsewhere around the United States. He has been featured in national billboard campaigns, movies, print ads, fashion shows, and over 30 commercials. For the past two years, Charleston has co-hosted the show Bay Area Vista TV.
Charleston is well known for his work with Macy’s Passport fashion shows and the San Francisco Junior League as a runway coach and model trainer. In 2007, he launched “Charleston Pierce Presents,” a series of fashion, music and entertainment events throughout the SF Bay Area with a focus on promoting local designers in San Francisco. Charleston was nominated as “Man of the Year” by San Francisco’s Lymphoma & Cancer Society in 2008, was awarded Best Fashion Show Producer & Creative Director at the 2010 Bay Area Fashion Awards, and won Creative Director of the Year at the 2011 San Francisco Fashion Awards.
He teaches “Runway: The Business of Modeling” at City College of San Francisco and leads a popular weekly workshop for aspiring models, dancers, singers, and rising stars.

- FASHION+TECHSF Presents: Mentors & Apprentices. Mentors and Apprentices is a career workshop and a networking event for the fashion, technology and creative industries in the SF Bay Area. Business owners who work in fashion, marketing, technology, art and design related professions introduced their businesses and/or products, explained what they do, discussed their industry challenges and the nature of their internship opportunity, followed by a Q&A session. Mentors then met and interacted with participants and guests. Students and entrepreneurs alike attended this alternative career workshop. Internship opportunity and requirements are determined by each mentor. Resumes recommended.

Mentors and Apprentices is a career workshop and a networking event for the fashion, technology and creative industries in the SF Bay Area. Business owners who work in fashion, marketing, technology, art and design-related professions will introduce their businesses and/or products, explain what they do, discuss their industry challenges and the nature of their internship opportunity, followed by a Q&A session. Mentors will then be available to meet and interact with participants and for additional informational interviewing.
Students, entrepreneurs and those interested in additional career options are highly encouraged to attend. Internship opportunity and requirements are determined by each mentor and will vary. Resumes recommended.
